FAQ: Does Flavor contain Salicylates?

When you are on the Guaifenesin Protocol to treat your Fibromyalgia, you need to watch for the word Flavor.

In Vitamins, protein powders, and especially in gum, candy and anything tooth-ish like toothpaste, dental floss, and mouth wash 🙂 You cannot have mint/menthol in there. It will block your guaifenesin from working to reverse your fibro symptoms!

MOST Flavor will have mint/mentol in the Flavor ingredient, even if it’s not listed, there is usually still mint or menthal in it, especially in orange, cinnamon, cherry and grape. So make sure to choose your toothpaste, mouthwash and gum from AndreaRose or check the sal-free lists.

You will also need to be diligent about your special someone and when you are kissing etc. If they use anything with mint, make sure it’s not immediately before being intimate! Click this link for more on: Intimate items and Salicylates.

For things like vitamins and protein powders, you could try! You will need to contact the company for mint/menthol from a manager or someone who knows more than just the customer service person. They will see just as much as you do. You gotta be SURE about this.

Finding sal-safe items are not as easy as reading the ingredients when it comes to Flavor. They can add mint and salicylates to flavor and not put it on the label. The only way to find out is to call the company and ask to speak to a manager and even then, they can misunderstand and not tell you everything. It’s too big a risk for you to try and find your own items, so PLEASE stick with toothpaste, mouthwash and gum from our sal-safe lists.
