Note from Kimberly, who runs the Guai-safe product boards:
“The products on the boards are NOT ALL of the products we can use; I will be updating them often.
I do “fieldwork” as often as I can and go looking for products to include on the boards.
When I see a new safe product posted here on the group, I will add it to the boards. I am also taking info on products made in Europe for our members in that part of the world.
If you find a product on the list and the ingredients are not safe, please tell me and I will investigate to see if it’s just a regional thing or if the manufacturers have in fact changed that product permanently.
Feel free to make comments on products on the boards as well; your input may help someone in the group! A word about blue/violet dyes:
Dr St Amand has noticed that some of his patients on the protocol have a problem with Blue/Violet dyes in medications and topical products. It can stop ones progress or make them go backwards. You can read more here: http://www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com/important-announcements/important-news-about-guaifenesin-products-from-dr-st-amand More recently, he has noticed some patients having the same problems with topical products like shampoo and even nail polish, and has told those patients to avoid blue/purple dyes “as much as possible.”
This would include blue and violet dyes and may or may not include ultramarines, manganese violet and Ferric Ferrocyanide (AKA Prussian Blue). We are still getting information and will update as soon as we get more information.
Not all people have this issue with blue/purple dyes.
I have updated my boards to include a disclaimer if a particular product has blue or violet dyes for those of you trying to avoid it.

I have checked the ingredients and all are safe at the time of inclusion on the board.
As always, double check the product in your hand each and every time you buy it to ensure the ingredients have not changed. Happy Shopping!”
