Fibromyalgia reversal update on the Guaifenesin Protocol 4 years in.

Can you believe it’s been 4 years? I can hardly wrap my mind around it! I was pretty quiet the last couple years of the Guaifenesin protocol, trying to figure out what happened that made me stop clearing. And then trying to figure out why I re-deposited. It was so discouraging I had no idea how to write anything about it. I was desperately looking for a cause.

Well, this last year has been really up and down. To make a long story short: It started out pretty bad with a mapping that showed so much re-depositing of the phosphate deposits that it looked like I was just starting the protocol instead of 3 years in. We decided to up my dose, which is so horrible for a low doser!

Low Dose Fast Responders pretty much clear all the time without a break. So taking a 3rd pill a day was unthinkable. But the alternative was to quit, and I am NOT a quitter, esp not after investing 3 years of my life to this and giving up on the hope of good health? Ha! Not gonna happen.

So, I started taking my 300mg LA/SR Guaifenesin 3 times a day. Knocked me off my feet and back onto the couch. It was so so horrible. The worst was just the wondering if it was even working, after putting myself through so much. Yep, I cried alot. This girl is not afraid to be emotional! lol! Better to just let it out! 😀

Well, here I sit, in such good health that I am now Fostering twin 6 yr old boys! There is NO way I could have done this a year ago, let alone 4 years ago when I started the protocol and was couch-bound. SO thankful that I stuck it out and did the unthinkable- raise my dose. Please note that I was 3 YEARS in when I raised my dose from my clearing dose! I do not suggest you raise your dose higher than your clearing dose unless you are far enough along. I am currently clearing my shoulders, which is a deep deposit, going back to when I was little and thought all the kids had crazy stabbing pain in their shoulders when they sat down. These deep deposits clear later on in your cycling, so I know I am making good progress. Yes, my fingers go numb sometimes from the pinched nerves and pain, and yes I wake up in pain at night sometimes, but it’s not like it used to be! NOW, I just think “YES! I am clearing and it’s getting better instead of worse right now!” I take my pain meds, go to the Neurostructural Integration Therapy, do gentle stretches, and rest with the knowledge that soon it will go away an I will feel better than I did before. I am one day closer to being symptom free!! YAY GUAI!

SO thankful right now! <3
