White and apple cider vinegar and Salicylates

Apple Cider Vinegar is very high in salicylates. It IS an acid, but because of it’s high salicylate content, topically,  DO NOT risk blocking your Guaifenesin from working! Many have blocked on it in the past!

Apple Cider vinegar is the concern here, we haven’t heard of anybody blocking on plain white vinegar 🙂

Char’s motto totally applies here: When in doubt, do without!!

Having apple cider vinegar in foods, etc is fine, as our bodies digest out most of the sals enough to not worry about it. HOWEVER! If you are taking it as a drink, or as a supplement, then it WILL be too much and you will likely block on it.

I have heard about using it to burn off corns/ warts, but it’s unlikely at that concentration that it will do the job. Consider another solution for these irritating skin problems: go to the doc and get them to burn it off in ONE application of pure salicylic acid, and block for just ONE day! 🙂
