Smoking Cigarettes and/or Weed/Pot and Salicylates

FAQ: Does smoking block my Guaifenesin?

Short answer: Yes!

All of these- smoking cigarettes, smoking marijuana/pot, taking cbd, and any marijuana related products. They are all concentrated plant ingredients and they will block your guaifenesin from working to reverse your fibromyalgia symptoms.

Quote from Dr St Amand,

“There’s a strong possibility that smoking could make Guaifenesin partially or totally ineffective. It might merely depend on the crop’s potency, but we tell patients to be as pure as possible and avoid any substance they can’t safely validate, and this includes smoking.”

Weed/pot would be an easier blocker as there is no filter and you often would handle it.

FYI: Apparently there have been studies done that say that smokers have more pain and circulatory issues than others, so that is something to consider if you have big pain you have to deal with!
