PEG 40 and plant oils, are they salicylate safe?

Salicylate 4This is a Questionable Ingredient!

We have heard conflicting reports of what Dr St Amand himself says on this ingredient. And we believe it’s not worth the risk.

Example: PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor oil.

If it’s PEG + a number and a NON-PLANT oil, that ingredient is sal-safe.

For Example: Peg-150 Distearate. This ingredient is safe because there is no plant oil, gel or extract in the name

As we all know, any oil, gel or extract with a plant name like almond oil, will block Guaifenesin from working to eliminate phosphate and reverse our fibromyalgia symptoms. But we had thought that the PEG 40 was something that would change the oil into a chemical, which is mostly true, except sometimes s0me of the original oil is left in there and can block you!

As always, “when in doubt, do without!”

SO, I am going through all my products to be sure this ingredient is not in there… just in case!
