Of course recovery from fibromyalgia takes time, but I will share my progress. In September, I will be 2 years on the Guaifenesin protocol. Before beginning the Guaifenesin protocol, I was having difficulty walking, my legs felt like they would give out sometimes, balancing walking sometimes was difficult.
I was getting weaker having problems lifting a 30 pound toddler. My husband, David, helped me lift the child when he was home. Sleep was nearly non-existent. I used to crash only when I was overcome by sleep. Pain ruled. On the Guaifenesin protocol, it was not long before I began sleeping better and renewing my strength. I can lift up to 100 pounds. I work on my feet 7 hour days for 3 days a week. My job involves lots of walking, aerobic activity, etc. I rarely have flare pain unless I over do. I’m able to clean house, shop, etc. Long story short, I am regaining my life. Hang in there it takes time and determination.
Pic of me and my Hubby, my best friend, and supporter during my fibro journey. It’s testimony of our vows, in sickness and in health.
