FAQ: What are Normal Food Amounts

Salicylates on the Guaifenesin Protocol to treat Fibromyalgia‘Normal food amounts’ on the guaifenesin protocol is referring to non-concentrated amounts.

CHeck out my video on what is Normal Food Amounts of sals.

So, coconut oil on your salad in the amount of a Tbsp is a normal amount of oil in a salad dressing, that is a normal food amount. Taking a few Tbsp of coconut oil in hot water on an empty stomach for some medicinal reason however, has too much salicylates and may block you. Taking a Tbsp of turmeric on an empty stomach to help reduce inflammation, WILL block you. However, a Tbsp of it in your pot of curry isn’t going to hurt you, it’s a normal food amount 🙂

Everyone has a different tolerance to salicylates and it’s accumulative. A little here and a little there and it can add up. Sticking to the protocol as written will keep you clearing away for a long time. This is why it’s so so important to just be as careful as possible. Stick to normal food amounts, don’t guess on this one.

As always, if you are taking these foods in an effort to treat some ailment, the goal is to overwhelm your system with enough of it that it will make a difference. That is too much!

I used to use coconut oil in everything, including a hot drink in the morning on an empty stomach, I stopped doing that when I started on the Guaifenesin Protocol, and I am here to tell you it is SO WORTH it! The trade is for good health, energy and vitality! The guaifenesin Protocol reversed my fibromyalgia and gave me my life back. It works, but you have to do it right! Don’t take the risk of blocking (your Guaifenesin from reversing your symptoms) on concentrated foods, stick to Normal Food Amounts! <3
