Hand Soap when you leave home and Salicylates

This is one that is not so simple as in just no or yes use public bathroom hand soap!

Basically what it comes down to, is that you have to decide how careful you want to be. Some people say to just not worry about it, assuming that you aren’t going to use it more than once in a day, and that you aren’t going to let it rub in for very long so that no salicylates get into your blood stream to block your Guaifenesin from working to reverse your fibromyalgia symptoms. Remember that Salicylates accumulate throughout the day.

I always carry a sample sized bottle of Salicylate free soap in my purse for when I’m gone. When I don’t have my soap, I just vigorously rub my hands together under running water for a bit longer than usual. I am not willing to risk possibly blocking my Guaifenesin!

This one is up to you! I get totally FREAKED out when my hands touch something sal-full! haha!
