“A year ago last May I was diagnosed with #fibromyalgia AND hypoglycemia and Josh and the boys were diagnosed later that month. What a year it has been! We are getting and FEELING better ๐๐ผ The Lord has been so kind to us in this journey โค๏ธ
Here are our first maps at diagnosis followed by our maps from our appointments yesterday (first mine, then Josh, Armen and Elias). You can see a DRAMATIC decrease in our nodules which are what cause all the symptoms of fibromyalgia. There is more to the #guaifenesinprotocol than just taking a pill however. You also have to avoid salicylates, which are plant oils, gels and extracts because they block the action of our medication.
It can seem like a lot to have to deal with but it IS doable, WORTH it and doesnโt greatly affect our daily life.
We do however need to be careful of touching grass ๐ฑas the salicylates in it can block our medication. Josh, Armen and I had great progress but Elias has gone backwards a bit. We suspect he is blocking from too much grass exposure. SO, we re-evaluate, figure it out and move forward!
This journey is not a straight shot up, there will be setbacks and we need to roll with the punches, fix it and keep moving forward! We are so thankful for the progress we have seen and are experiencing and we know it will just keep getting better and better! #onedaycloser #hismerciesareneweverymorning #guaifenesin “
